Gérard Piouffre, is a writer and lecturer, specialist in the history of the navy of the industrial era. Of the twenty-five works owed to him, five are more particularly devoted to ocean liners and two directly concern the Titanic. It is :
- The Titanic no longer responds, Paris, Éditions Larousse, 2009.
- We were on board the Titanic, Éditions First, Paris, 2012. Gérard Piouffre has been a guest on several radio and television programs in France, Belgium and Switzerland. He notably participated in TF1's 20-hour Journal, the programs "C à dire" and "C dans l'air" on France 5 and RTL's "Grosses Têtes" of which he was the guest of honor.

In memory of Paul Henry Nargeolet: Today we all come together to honor the memory of an extraordinary man, Paul Henry Nargeolet. His loss leaves a deep void in our hearts, because he was much more than an ordinary person. He was a passionate explorer, a protector of the oceans and a true hero to those who shared his passion for discovering underwater wonders including that of the Titanic. Paul Henry Nargeolet dedicated his life to exploring the oceans and preserving their natural beauty. He was a master diver, a pioneer of the deep who constantly pushed the boundaries of underwater exploration. His expertise and unwavering determination have allowed him to lead incredible expeditions and discover treasures buried in the abyssal depths. As a guide and mentor, Paul Henry Nargeolet generously shared his knowledge and experience with future generations of explorers. He strongly believed in educating and inspiring young minds, encouraging them to pursue their dreams with boldness and curiosity. His legacy will be carried on through those he influenced, those who continue his work and unlock new mysteries of the deep. We will remember Paul Henry Nargeolet as a humble, passionate and intrepid man. His love for the oceans was palpable, and he left an indelible mark on the world of underwater exploration. His loss is immense, but his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come. We come together today on social media to celebrate the life of Paul Henry Nargeolet, may his spirit continue to guide us in our dreams and passion for the Titanic. Rest in peace, dear Paul Henry Nargeolet. Your journey continues, and we will be forever grateful to you for everything you have done for all of us, goodbye Mr. TITANIC.
